Linworth Children's Center Kindergarten Programs

Linworth Children’s Center offers a unique full day Kindergarten experience. Our Program allows children to grown cognitively, socially, emotionally, and spiritually in a Christian faith based environment. LCC Kindergarten classes are held Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm with Before and After Care available. An additional Kindergarten Enrichment Program is offered on Friday. The LCC Kindergarten Program provides a small class learning environment for students. Recent research proves that small class size leads to higher student achievement, better grades, reduced grade retention, lower dropout rates, and higher college aspirations. Research also indicates that the academic benefits that students receive from a small classroom experience in Kindergarten continue after they move into larger classes. The small class sizes provided by LCC enable the teachers to nurture the talents of all students and utilize their individual gifts to participate in the following areas:

• Reading processes including concepts of print, comprehension strategies, and self-monitoring skills
